Exchange 2010 Service Host service terminated unexpectedly SP2 RollBack4
Every time the "Service Host" stops to restart everyone receives an authentication screen. If we cancel the screen then in Outlook 2010 it says "Need Password" if we click "Need Password", it goes back to working normally showing Outlook in a connected state. This just started happening since we had other issues and the Microsoft Support Technician asked me to install SP2 and RollUp-4 Anyone got any ideas? Thanks very much for the help in advance cause the Microsoft Support Technician is at a stand still. -H

As I know, the Microsoft Exchange Service Host provides a host for several Exchange services. On internal server roles, this service is dependent upon the Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology service. On Edge Transport servers, this service is dependent upon the Microsoft Exchange ADAM service. And it will start up automatically.Noya Lau TechNet Community Support
