Exchange 2010 SP2 - Unable to set automatic replies
Just recently updated my Exchange Server 2010 to SP2 and then applied update rolloup 1 for SP2. The current version is (Exchange Server 2010 Version 14.02.0283.003). The first thing I noticed was that is switched to SSL, so I changed that and users were fine. The second thing I had to do was change the webconfig from SSLrequired = "true" to "false" as users were timing out and everything was fine after that change. However, we are not able to set automatic replies and we get the following error when trying: 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.. Just so you know users are all user OWA to access their mail. This was not an issue prior to the upgrade.Linda Carlone

Exchange service packs basically reinstall the product, so if you had changes that you made that were away from default, then they would be reset. Why did you disable the require SSL option? In a correctly functioning system that isn't required. To be clear- you are trying to setup Automatic Replies through OWA, or through Outlook? Simon. Hello, Please first check if it is a autodiscover or EWS issue. Since the issue happened after changing the web.config file, you can copy a good file from other server and replace it to workaround this issue.
