Exchange 2010 Public Folder corruption

Hi,

We use Public folders with Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2010.  We have some meeting rooms that are Calendars.  We have been asked to export each meeting room calendar to excel.  I have been able to export some but not others.  All my articles point to corrupt items in the Public folder calendar.  I have exported say calendar 1, 2 & 3 but not calendar 4, 5 and 6.  They all start to export and them fail with mapi 0x80040305 on exporting a Outlook 2010 calendar to excel.  This is a public folder calendar so cannot use a tool like calcheck to find corrupt items.  Is there a way to fix/find the corrupt items in a public folder calendar.  I do not want to repair the whole public folder database as it is not the problem it is just a few calendars.  Urgently need help as I have been trying for weeks to sort this out.  thanks Kathie D

Hi,

Based on my research, there is no direct way to fix/find the corrupt items in a public folder calendar. The only method is to repair the whole public folder database.

Does this issue continue if we try exporting the public folder calendar to PST file? If you can export the public folder calendar into PST file, we can try repair the PST file and then export the calendar from the PST file to an Excel file. To repair a PST file, we can use the Inbox Repair tool. For your convenience:

Or, you can try to find some third-party tools to repair corrupted public folder calendar individually.

Thanks heaps your a genius.  Why didn't I think of that.  Yes I got one to backup to .pst OK so I'll try that method.  I suspect if one can export to PST the other 2 should work also.
