Hi, What service pack and RU is your Exchange 2010 running? I thought this was fixed in one of the SP1 rollups. Can't remember which one at the moment.Sean Massey | Consultant, iUNITE Feel free to contact me through My Blog or Twitter. Please click the Mark as Answer button if a post solves your problem!

Hi joerabbi, How did you share user's calendar? Outlook->Calendar folder->Calendar Properties->Permissions? If yes, I test in my lab(Exchange 2010 SP1 RU6), and same result as yours: Microsoft Outlook does not recognize "name". Hi Joerabbi, Your not going to like it but I think we need to use a work around, the one defined in this MS KB. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/178721 Regards GB Fraser

The key was saving the username in contacts and using cached mode in Outlook. enable cached mode un-hide mailbox create new email and resolve name, then save to contact list. hide mailbox open shared mailbox (it uses the contact list to resolve the name) joerabbi

Hi Joerabbi, I am pleased you resolved it. I am sure cached mode is not required in most cases, well done. Kind Regards
