Exchange 2010 OAB Problem
Hi All, I'm in the process of decommissioning our Exchange 2007 server and currently migrating everything across to the new 2010 server. Everything seems to be sorted except one thing - the OAB (offline address book) doesn't seem to populate in IIS, in other words the folder in IIS isn't being created and clients can't download an updated address book from the new server. In Outlook the error is the usual: Task 'mail.box@domain.com' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An object cannot be found.' Both servers are running together, I've tried moving the OAB from the old server to the new one but it made no difference, and creating a new one on the server (which is how it's currently setup) also doesn't work. Below are screenshots of what I mean: IIS: EMC: The first OAB (that isn't the default OAB) is the new one which is located on the new server is the one having problems. We also have another 2k7 box on another site, but this isn't part of the current problem. Any help as to what to check would be appreciated. Thanks, Matt

Move that Web.Config file to any other location and Restart MS Exchange FDS service on the server. I hope .LZX files are getting generated in shared ExchangeOAB folder!Gulab | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2010 | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2007 | MCC 2011 | Skype: Gulab.Mallah
