Exchange 2010 MRM Policy not working on server
Hello Running Exchange 2010 SP1. Some users have a Managed Folder Policy applied to their mailbox to delete Inbox items older than 1 year. However we've been notified by some peolpe that they do have Inbox items over this date threshold. Looking at these mailboxes, they all seem to be on one mailbox server. In the Exchange 2007 days, I know that there used to be a Managed Folder Assistant that we'd manually schedule on each Mailbox server to run. I understand that with Exchange 2010, the MFA now runs all the time. What's the best way to troubleshoot why these MRM Policies are not being applied to the mailboxes in question?

You can manually start it: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123958.aspx Though if its affecting all the mailboxes on one server, I'm inclined to recommend simply restarting the MSExchangeMailboxAssistants service or all the Exchange Services or maybe a reboot of the whole thing to see if that pops it.
