Exchange 2010 Linked Mailboxes are unable to Download Offline Address Book
Hi All, My environment is using exchange 2010 server. My linked mailbox users are unable to download offline address book. Can anybody please help me in this. thanks & Regards, Zeeshan Butt

Hi Zeeshan, Can you post the error code & error message from Outlook task when user try to download OAB?

I think i need to give some permissions to my linked mailbox users but don't know where i need to give permissions.

Sorry for late reply. 0x80004005 can happen because of several cause. Because of misconfiguration on OAB virtual directory, misconfiguration of OAB itself or maybe because 3rd party antivirus. Some reference about this lead to several cause and resolution: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/329936 http://blogs.msdn.com/b/dgoldman/archive/2007/04/19/outlook-oab-download-fails-with-0x80004005-and-0x8004010f.aspx I think it's better to do more research to isolate the real cause, like: Is that error triggered just because OAB (send/receive email was normal)?Configuration of OAB virtual directory (about InternalURL and ExternalURL).Do you configure redirection in your IIS in CAS server?OAB distribution method.etc. Your question about permission to linked mailbox, I don't think this is a cause that your linked mailbox cannot download OAB...
