I am trying to separate the GAL by creating a customized GAL and address lists. I have created what i have needed and assigned the address book policy to a user for the new GAL. When I log into OWA I see the new GAL however i can only see my account. Is there some permissions that i am missing from somewhere?

What's the exact meaning about "When I log into OWA I see the new GAL however i can only see my account" in your posting? Do you mean there is no users listed in GAL but only your email address is listed there?

If possible, please provide a screenshot here for more troubleshooting. Additionally, please run the following command to check your new created GAL and address book policy:

Get-GlobalAddressList | FL

Get-AddressBookPolicy -Identity "new ABP" | fl

That is correct, i basically only see my account in the new GAL as shown below. If i go to the address list that i created within OWA i can see all of my users as shown in the additional screen shot.

Sorry for my delay. Have the issue been resolved?

According to your further posting, I noticed the GAL_Company which is used in your Address Book Policy is filtered with CustomAttribute1 -eq 'companymailusers'. Please check the CustomAttribute1 attribute for all other users in your environment.

Maybe the CustomAttribute1 attribute is not set to 'companymailusers' for other users, and this filter didn't filter out the users which you wanted to show in GAL.
