Exchange 2010 Exchange Server Componet Client Access Role Failed.
Hello Experts,
Thanks in advance.
In my testing environment after exchange 2010 installation finished, I tried to open EMC. It is not opening. Please suggest.
My configurations is Windows Server 2008R2 Enterprise edition. Please find the attached error. I went trough all the articles of same type but no results.

Verify all the Exchange services that are set to automatic are started. Can you successfully open an Exchange powershell window?

Are you sure you installed Exchange properly, and didn't just install the admin tools?

Dear Experts,
I have uninstalled exch2010 from control panel. I did the following steps using command prompt.
1. Prepared AD Schema
2. Prepare AD
3. Prepare Domain.
I installed all the prerequisites then enabled IP V6 in TCP/IP. I first installed Hub Transport role and it was successful.
Then installed Mailbox role and it was again successful finally tried to install CAS( Client access Role). This time I got error. Exchange component client access role failed. Please find the attached error. However now I am able to open Exchange management
console without any issue. Only issue is CAS role is not installed. Any suggestion will appreciate.

the recommended sequence to install the exchange server is , CAS followed by HUB transport and then Mailbox server role.
You seems to have installed HUB first and then MBX second, later you were trying to install CAS, which may lead problems with the setup. thanks, let me know if need any further details.

hi,
If you are having more than one machine for your lab setup, install CAS/HUB on one server and MBX on other server, else you can install all three at together on a single VM.
Prerequsits are mandatory for successful installation, I assume you are not following proper installation method as described by MS.
