Exchange 2010 Discovery
Hoping someone can clear this up for me; if we run a discovery search in Exchange 2010 and want to place items on hold, can we place only the items we've captured on hold or can you only place an entire mailbox on hold?

Hi ArchStanton, you can only put an entire Exchange 2010 mailbox to litigation hold, not just items. The feature is either enabled or disabled for the complete mailbox. here are some information as well : http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2011/08/16/retention-hold-and-litigation-hold-in-exchange-2010.aspx Gre, Christoph
