currently my site is working  with my main site only. I need to enable daily backup using the Symantec backup exec but  it also failed due to DAG issue. my exchange logs are growing. can any body help me to remove the DAG configuration so that I can able to enable  the backup  with mailbox server insead of selecting DAG  in the Backup job.

Hello Jags,

How about removing the failed server member and do a backup again.

1. Remove failed DAG Member

Remove-DatabaseAvailabilityGroupServer -Identity DAG -MailboxServer EX2 -ConfigurationOnly

2. Evict the failed node from Windows Cluster (First we need to import Failover Cluster Module)

Import-Module FailoverClusters

Get-ClusterNode EX2 | Remove-ClusterNode -Force

Try backup again. When the failed one is back again, configure DAG
