Exchange 2010 - Trouble getting a resource calendar to display contents of meetings to users
I am having trouble getting resource calendars to display contents of its items to users. Resource account of recipient type room mailbox was created. Delegate and permissions were setup. So far users are only able to see the organizer's name as the subject and meeting locations when attempting to view the contents of an event on a resource calendar. I have already look into changing resource settings in OWA, but the only options that are being displayed are: scheduling option, scheduling permission and response message. Could someone please help with getting resource calendars to display its contents? Thanks Environment: Exchange 2010 SP1, Outlook 2007/2010 Not interested in setting up a public folder or in SharePoint

Did you go into the calendar of the room, permissions tab and grant the user (or default) full detail view rights?James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

Hi, Please run Get-CalendarProcessing command and check whether the -DeleteSubject and -DeleteContent parameters have set to true. If so, Please try to set the parameters to false by the following commands. Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity your room mailbox -DeleteSubject $false Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity your room mailbox -DeleteContent $false For detailed, please see, Get-CalendarProcessing: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd298137.aspx Set-CalendarProcessing: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd335046.aspx Best regards, Serena Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi, This can be used to modify settings on existing room mailboxes. I would like to make the default settings for room mailboxes as "-DeleteSubject $false". We are provisioning mailboxes using FIM in a resource-forest environment. Can you please let me know how would I apply this policy for new mailbox provisioning from exchange 2010 perspective?
