Exchange 2010 - Public Folder - Calendar / Contacts
Hi, I've read Microsoft's strategy is to remove Public Folders from Exchange. I'm about to deploy an Exchange 2010 into our forest, and I'm not sure whether or not to install Public Folders. I remember in Exchange 2003 it was possible to have group calendars and contacts accessible to all employees using Public Folders. Like this: http://www.abload.de/img/snip_03qvgx.png If Microsoft wants me to work without PF in the future. What's the new Microsoft way to manage group contacts and calendars in Exchange 2010? Please note, I do have very little experience in Exchange 2003 in general. I would really appreciate your help on this.

You can use Sharepoint or something similar for the both group contacts and group calendars. Or add the contacts to the GAL Or create a shared resource mailbox for the group calendar functionality.
