Exchange 2010 - Prevent users from seeing the GAL when using Address Book Policies
I have a requirement to prevent specific users from seeing the GAL in a multi-tenanted Exchange 2010 SP2 deployment that uses ABPs. I have, so far, been unable to find to anything definative on this. Is there any supported method on how these users should be configured? Thank you

Hi, You could create a GAL that doesn't have any info in it. This is a good start: Understanding Address Book Policies Martina Miskovic

Apologies for not coming back to this thread sooner. We did create a blank GAL and ABP based on custom attribute settings that would never exist and it works, plus gives us some flexibility over allowing users to be seen to GALS, but not actually see anyone themselves..... Thank you to all who answered
