Exchange 2010 - Outlook 2010 - Send As & Send on Behalf permissions
Outlook 2010 Exchange 2010 SP1 I have a user that has 'Full Access' and 'Send on behalf' permissions over her managers mailbox. Sometimes her manager wants her to send an e-mail as if it’s coming from him, and other times he wants her to send it on behalf of him. At the moment unless I stop the user having 'Full Access' (or 'Send As') I can’t stop the mail showing as it came directly from her manger. In an ideal world I want the user to have the ability at the point of sending to choose whether the mail should be Sent As or Sent on Behalf of her manager. Any help greatly appreciated

I have never known a method to be able to choose one or the other when both are set; the send on behalf will take precedence.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

As the user has Full Control then the Send As takes precedence which makes the situation even worse. I've actually removed the Send As permissions but I can't remove the Full Access

Hi David, I am afraid that there is no way to choose send as\send on behalf when these two are set.
