Exchange 2010 - OWA and maill flow troubles
Hi, I have a serious problem after Exchange 2010 installation. Basicly-I have organization with 3 Active Directory sites, Site A, Site B, Site C. Each site has own DC with GC. When I installed Exchange 2010 to the Site B I was in troubles described here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrgeneral/thread/c52dd58d-085a-4e7a-80a3-7f577f74e5ad This problem has been fixed, but just now I am facing another one. In the AD Site B I have one server called PHA-MX02.MYDOMAIN.SUFFIX I create the first mailbox DB called PHA-MX02-MailboxDatabase01 and also the second one called PHA-MX02-MailboxDatabase02. I am not able access OWA via web browser. I am able connect via user´s account to the Outlook client. I have also problem with mail flow. If I send e-mail then it will stay in queue with this error: 432-4.3.2 STOREDRV; mailbox server is offline432 4.3.2 STOREDRV. Deliver.Exception:ConnetionFailedTransientExeption.MapiExeption and during about 90minutes it has been delivered to requested recipient! (internally or to ext.domain e.g. gmail.com etc.) NOTE: all exchange services are up and running! When I tried create the second mailbox DB it give me the error: Summary: 2 item(s). 1 succeeded, 1 failed. Elapsed time: 00:00:07 New PHA-MX02-MailboxDatabase02 Completed Warning: An error occurred while trying to prepopulate newly created mailbox "/o=MYDOMAIN/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=SystemMailbox{dea83ef0-d2a1-442c-8964-78de67869876}" in database "PHA-MX02-MailboxDatabase02" on server "PHA-MX02". 1. There are several issue you have described here. There seems to be multiple causes and multiple issues. 2. I would start off by examing the event logs in depth and look for enteries during the time of failure. 3. Runt he ExBPA and resolve any erors that are there. Sukh

How much time you are giving before mounting the database? Post the update on Sukh's suggestions.Gulab | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2010 | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2007 | MCC 2011 | Skype: Gulab.Mallah

Hi Petr, Any updates? Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Hi, The problem seems to be fixed now, but I must run Exchange BPA for sure, but anyway-mail flow works just now and also OWA. The whole problem was that we have bad configuration in VPN tunnel between AD sites - I was not able ping from Exchange server in SiteA to SiteB. I was not able ping both servers located at SiteB-DC and also Exchange. When the changes has been made on the VPN tunnel the mail flow starts working well and also OWA. I must check other services and then I will mark this answer as result if it will be alright. Petr Weiner
