Exchange 2010 - Change database drive letter?
Hi all, I know you can move the database to another drive, but what if you have no room in the server to fit a new drive but want to rename the drive from D: to E:? If you dismount the database and change the drive letter to E: within drive management, you cannot mount the database as it is still looking at D: and I cannot see a way to simply tell the database to look at E: instead? Surely I am overlooking something simple here?

Hiya, IIRC, you could use the Move-StorageGroup cmdlet with the -ConfigurationOnly flag to move the dismounted DB path. SteveSteve Goodman Check out my Blog for more Exchange info or find me on Twitter
