hello friend any idea i am trying to run this command to see wheter my exchange db is in clean or dirty shutdown mode but it gives me error any idea? Hi, Sounds like the database is mounted. You need to dismount the database to do this- and then it should hopefully be in a clean shutdown state. Leif
