Exchange 2007 with SP2 Database Warning - Event ID 1025 Restrict/SetSearchCriteria Error: 1162
Dear Sir, An Exchange Server appears problem of warning message: English Exchange 2007 with SP2: An error occurred on database "FifthStorageGroup\FifthStore". Function name or description of problem: Restrict/SetSearchCriteria Error: 1162 Warning: fail to apply search optimization to folder (FID 1-580F859C30) Retrying without optimization Warning Event ID: 1025 Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox Category: General It only occurs in one of the database, any suggestion to fix it. You can ignore those, it means that Exchange couldn't perform an optimized indexed search. This usually occurs with users that have high item count per folder > 5000. You can try rebuilding the indexes, though it may alleviate if you have users that have high item counts they will still likley continue.
