Exchange 2007 store service stopped
HelloWe are running Ex07 with Mailbox, client access and Hub Transport role. Today the mailbox store service stopped. and the following error appear at the event log. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Event ID:1160Database resource failure error Out of memory occurred in function JTAB_BASE::EcCreateIndex while accessing the database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Database". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ More detail information- Windows 2003 Std (64bit) with SP2- Exchange 2007 Std with SP1- Memory : 8GB- Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 Exchange Agent We cannot find the KB or information for Ex07 with this error. pls help. thx

Check the following and see if they help1. How to determine the appropriate page file size for 64-bit versions of Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889654/en-us2. Also run exmon tool and see if there are any issues. try to see if there are users who are killing the server. Also have a look into perfmon and see if there are any component that is using more memory.Are you running any Symanetc AV http://support.microsoft.com/kb/951031/en-usRaj

The issue is caused by the server is out of memory. Please let us know if you have Symantec Notification Server installed, if so, please check KB951031. Meanwhile, please install the latest updates for Exchange http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee221180.aspx Thanks, Elvis

We havent install Symantec Notification Server. We may try to install the SP2 on Exchange 2007
