Exchange 2007 sp3 new added Mailbox Server OAB issue
I installed a new mailbox server and the users on this server are not able to download the correct OAB manually. Suppose user should see this: Instead, the affected users are seeing this incorrect OAB: - The new and all existing servers are running exchange 2007 sp3 ru5. - 1 public storage group containing 1 public folder on each mailbox server - Users are all outlook 2003 SP3 clients. - In EMC, I already checked the new server has the Offline Address Book settings(within Database's properties -> Under client settings) equivlent to other existing servers. - Another thing is that when I execute "Test-OutlookWebServices | FL" on the new server, the OAB service connects successfully but the address is not correct: Incorrect: https://hksk3evgexchnlb.abc.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx Correct Address should be: https:hksk3evgexch08.ap.corp.abc.com/ews/exchange.asmx

Can you Verify Public Folder Distribution is enabled . Cause outlook 2003 uses only PF distribution OAB properties - Distribution Tab Properties are kinda same in 2010 Example -- http://careexchange.in/how-offline-address-books-works-in-exchange-2010/Satheshwaran Manoharan | Exchange 2003/2007/2010 | Blog:http://www.careexchange.in | Please mark it as an answer if it really helps you

Tried changing the OAB URL http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123515(v=exchg.80).aspx http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/management-administration/configuring-exchange-server-2007-web-services-urls.html Also make sure PF replication is working between the Exchange server and OAB exists. Update: The issue no longer exist after some kind of replication either between 1) HUB servers 2) Mailbox servers I have no idea why and which one it was. I remember I setup my first SG before the Public folder and I doubt that's the cause..
