Hi, That's expected. The Transaction logs will only be purged after a full VSS Backup using Windows 2008 Server Backup. See the below Technet Article for additonal information. Please make sure that you choosed the advanced option "VSS Full backup" in the backup job. If you didn't the backup will run as a CopyBackup and not flush the logs. Check with: Get-MailboxDatabase -status | ft Name,last* Martina Miskovic

Did you run the command Get-MailboxDatabase -status | ft Name,last* Do you know that SP1 hasn't been supported since 10/12/2010 ?? The first you should do is to patch your server with SP3 and the latest Rollup. This might help here.Martina Miskovic
