Exchange 2007 redirect problem

Not sure what POP has to do with anything. your ISP just needs to relay all smtp traffic to your IP address. if you just have a regular POP3 email provider you need a pop3 exchange connector. Microsoft does not provide any for exchange 2007. Neither. This would be the authoritative domain. the relays are if someone were to relay through you. you add your own domain. companyname.com Internet I assume you mean under "smart hosts" if your ISP, whom you are relaying through requires authentication to do this, there info goes here. if not, none. yes, you also need a receive connector. other than you needing to configure a smarthost, your setup is identical to every other single exchange scenario. read this article for more insight: Configuring Exchange 2007 Hub Transport role to receive Internet mail http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/11/17/431555.aspx

Also, if you are only going to be accepting email from your ISP (for security or whatever they are doing for you) you can adjust the IP range of your receive connector and only allow traffic from them. you should really do this on your firewall, but you have the option of doing it here as well.
