Exchange 2007 receiving email's problem
We are running an exchange 2007 server with approx 180 users on it at the moment. Intermittently we experience a problem were any external emails that are sent to ourexchange systemwith an attachment above about 1Mb are not being received until the next day. If the attachment is roughly below this size the emails are received instantly. We know this could be some sort of bandwidth problem but we dont have the same issue with a Novell GroupWise server we have running on the same link. Could this be a problem with the exchange server rejecting the emails due to it being busy? Thanks for any help Regards Jason

Sounds like there is some corruption going on in your database. You might need to get eseutil going to repair it, but it'll have to be done offline. Any other evidence of database corruption? Have you got good backups (you might need them).

Yes we have good system state and storage group backups The problem has started once again today. I noticed today that store.exe was using about 5.5Gb of memory and all together is using about 8Gb. Is this normal? I can't see anything else pointing towards a db corruption. A repair ora restore is the last thing we want to do at the moment.
