Exchange 2007 permissions - your help greatly appreciated
Hello, I have a question and i would really appreciate it if you could help me out. I have two different exchange domains, for example A & B. I have mailboxes configured in Domain A, how do I grant Send and Receive permission to a user from a different domain, B\User ? so a user from domain B can send and receive email from mailbox configured in domain A ? This Exchnage 2007 environment, by the way.

By the way, i am sorry i forgot to mention there is an outgoing one way trust from domain A to domain B, so domain B is a trusted domain,

Xen3, You should make a linked mailbox then, this is specially made for this kind of situations. It goes almost the same as a normal mailbox except that you get an apart option to select the user from the trusted domain to be owner of the mailbox. For detailed instructions see the following page: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123524(EXCHG.80).aspx

thank you very much for your response, i tried that and was able to add user from a trusted domain, however, for some reason i cannot send and receive email from that mailbox, i get a failure indicating that that user cannot access Domain A Active Directory even if the suer in trusted domain B and is linked to the mailbox why is this, do i needto do something extra to set other permissions ?
