Exchange 2007 org in two forests?
Here is my scenario. Forest A has Exchange 2007 with latest SP installed. This forest has about 500 users. Forest B has about 100 users, they have linked accounts in Forest A with their email accounts. Domain trust exists between these forests. Outlook 2007 users are unable to set their out of office settings via Outlook from Forest B. Keeping in mind that we have users in Forest A also, what is the best path to take? Do I need to install a Hub Transport server in Forest B? My preference would be to not do so unless there is no way around that. TIA - Phil

Hi, To configure the OOF setting, the OOF must be working. In Exchange 2007, Outlook clients use Autodiscover to get the OOF URL. First of all, whether the Outlook client can work normal with Autodiscover for the Forest A from Forest B? http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2008/02/13/448127.aspx Thanks AllenAllen Song
