Exchange 2007 on Server 2008 standard 64bit
There has to be a way to install Exchange 2007 standard on Windows Server 2008 Standard 64bit. I ran through some commands and all seemed to work fine. Here they are: ServerManagerCmd -i PowerShellServerManagerCmd -i Web-Server ServerManagerCmd -i Web-ISAPI-Ext ServerManagerCmd -i Web-Metabase ServerManagerCmd -i Web-Lgcy-Mgmt-Console ServerManagerCmd -i Web-Basic-Auth ServerManagerCmd -i Web-Digest-Auth ServerManagerCmd -i Web-Windows-Auth ServerManagerCmd -i Web-Dyn-Compression which is from this site : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691354(EXCHG.80).aspx But when i finally get to the point where i can "install" exchange i get the following errors at the Readiness Checks section: Summary: 5 item(s). 0 succeeded, 5 failed. Exchange 2007 requires SP1 to run on Windows 2008. Find a new media source with SP1 integrated.

I will try that first thing monday. I have the Microsoft Select license, and they send me random cd's. I don't remember seeing SP1 on the CD Lable.

Windows 2008 sp2 has no relationship to an Exchange 2007 install. The only thing that matters is that the EXCHANGE media have EXCHANGE sp1 integrated. E2k7 sp1 installs fine on win2k8 sp1 or sp2 Mike Crowley A+, Network+, Security+, MCT, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP: Enterprise Administrator / Messaging Administrator
