Exchange 2007 on Server 2008 owa iis metadata
After an update owa stopped working. I have now managed to throughly mess up IIS and the Client Access. When I try to uninstall Client Access I get the following: "Unable to read data from the MetaBase. Ensure that Microsoft Internet Information Services is installed." I have uninstalled and reinstalled IIs but it doesn't change any thing. Is ther a way to create/recreate the Metabse and then allow me to uninstall and reinstall CAS? Is there definitive documentation that will allow me to fix this problem or short of that completely uninstall the 2007 Exchange server?I have an Exchange 2003 server as well2007 Exchange running.

After removed IIS, please verify if ApplicationHost.config file is deleted from %windir%\system32\inetsrv\config folder Please also ensure that all IIS prerequisites have been installed (Reference) James Luo TechNet Subscriber Support (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/ms788697.aspx) If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com
