Hey all, I am using Netbackup 6.5. I am backing up the CCR active node (nightly fulls). I have one SG that is not commiting the logs to the DB once backup completes. Ideas why? I checked my copy status for each SG and all show healthy. Thanks!

Errors in the event logs or backup logs?

Backup logs\jobshow successful. Nothing jumping out in the OS logs. I did notice one thing. Our SCR DR machine is showing failed for this DB "Missing log file" I plan to reseed. I can't imagine that would have anything impact on the CCR backups though.

Nothing in the Exch Server app logs? THere should be if log truncation fails.

What eventID would I be looking for?

Could be anything actually.If truncation is successful, you'll see an Exchange Event 916:Example: Microsoft.Exchange.Cluster.ReplayService (2580) Deleting log files ......\Storage Group 00\xxxx0031EFA4.log to \\\.....xxxxxxx003207DC.log.

Yep.. I have a 916 for every DB except for the onewhere thelogs are not being committed.

^^^ thanks but the logs for all my other DBs truncate fine. So I do not suspect there issue is realted to the backup software.

Hmmm, that missing log could be the culprit however. Is it really missing? When does the store show a last successful backup?

Store shows last full successful backup as lastnight.. so I am confused. I am going to reseed the SCR DR server to see if that makes a difference.
