Exchange 2007 installed on Active Direcory Domain Controller
Hi I am setting up Exchange 2007 on a Active Direcory DC, the company has no more hardware. Everything installed ok. Problem is when people try to connect via outlookweb they get to the screen asking for login, once the credentials are entered the browser fails to go further saying that it 'cannot display the webpage' . I can log onto outlookweb on the Domain controller itself and send and recieve messages. When using pop3 i do the test and it fails saying 'the server did not accept the username and password ' (the test account settingfinds both the outgoing(smtp) and incoming (pop3) server fine), and i see the test mail appear in the mailbox sent from outlook during the test. I am guessing the failure has something to do with exchnage being on the Active Direcory domain controller, There has to be a fix for this, can someone help me please. I have resolved the above issues thx in advance Atif

Hi Yes sorry, For the outlookweb on the Server Configuration-Client Access- properties of OWA (default Web Site), i noticed that the URL ended in OWA , so in the browser i changed it from \exchange to \owa and it worked. for the pop3 i changed the security to plaintext via the powershell as per a few posts on this site.however i can send mail using pop3 to all internal clients but am getting a 550.5.7.1 unable to relay error when trying to send to external clients, i have opened a different thread for this . thanks
