Exchange 2007 email address policy generates wrong email adresses
we got 2 email address policies
1 default and 1 custom
the custom onetells the email address to be typegiven name and sn @domain.com
sofar so good...
but as we live in N-europe/Scandinavia there are accented characthers in given names an SN attributes in
AD... in 2003 there was possibility to replace %rwit O in email address policies..now as default the exchange creates emailaddresses so that charachter is 'oe' like 'sjholm' is 'sjoeholm' etc...we would like to have it as 'o' and so on as usual... where is this behaveour controlled...

Hi Mr Zalama,
As far as I now the %r still works in Exchange 2007... But there is another solution to your problem. If you go to the Regional Settings on your server and make sure it's set to the correct language. Also make sure Advanced -> Language for non-unicode is set to your language, Exchange will replace with o and so on. You might have to restart after the changes are done.
