Exchange 2007 deploy. snapshots and tape or lcr or both
Curious to anyone's thougts about backing up your exchange data. There seems to be a couple of solutions for backing and protecting your exchange data. I'm doing a 500 user install. I have been reading up on lcr. I also have the ability to take snapshots of the disks using the software on the SAN. In addition, either way at some point it will also be archived to tape. Wondering if I should use all 3 solutions. LCR, snapshot the active and passive volumes, and archive to tape daily, or is that overkill. Thanks

If you want to Use all the Resources. Run a backup on the LCR passive Copy and Get that To tape, Anyways , If HardDisk Crashes. LCR is no more. You got to Depend on a Good Backup Satheshwaran Manoharan | Exchange 2003/2007/2010 | Blog:http://www.careexchange.in | Please mark it as an answer if it really helps you
