Exchange 2007 datastore disconnects but service still running
Have a couple week old upgrade install of Exchange 2007 (from 2003) that has started dismounting the datastore. Everything works fine again once it's restarted. Service never stops. Getting the following in the event log... Yes - That has been my thinking as well - but so far I haven't found any issues with the hardware.

Try repairing the database as mentioned above. If it finds and repairs issues, defrag the database as well.

Thanks. I'm thinking about moving the database to local storage to eliminate that as a problem.

Stored on a SAN. LUN owned by the blade the exchange server is on. Going to try and move to local drive and see if that makes a difference (as a diagnostic on the SAN - which doesn't show any problems)

Hello After running err.exe 0xffffc02, it reports Disk I/O error, so i suggest you first move mailbox in the database in the problem disk into another disk ASAP; pls read the link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/812452/en-us; how to move mailbox from one mailbox store to another one; http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124797.aspxthen check the problem disk, and evaluate it whether can use in production environment; hope it helps -jack
