Exchange 2007 cluster
Hello. I have 3-node (Active-Active-Passive) exchange 2003 mail box server cluster. I need to migrate it to exch 2007 in same configuration on W2K8. In this link http://www.ureader.com/msg/1170853.aspxi reed this:" Active/active isn't possible in Exchange 2007 now." and begin to think about is it true or no? Can Ex2007 support Active-Active-Passive cluster configuration? I can't find anything about it

in this http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998607(EXCHG.80).aspxi find this: Exchange2007 supports only clusters that have at least one passive node, for example, two active nodes and a passive node. but anybody try to do it? In nearest time i'll plan to deploy this scenario in testlab to try.

Exchange 2007 not supports active/active clustering configurations only if you just have two nodes in your environment. But, since you have three nodes, then yes, you still can have multiple active nodes in the same SCC, as the precondition is has at least one passive node Notes: You can have only one passive node serves two active nodes or more, but I recommend that you deploy at least one passive node for every active node in the cluster For the details, please review the Installing Multiple Clustered Mailbox Servers Section of the article: Installing a Single Copy Cluster on Windows Server 2008 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb629581(EXCHG.80).aspx
