Exchange 2007 change IP address
I have an upcoming project to move our Exchange 2007 servers to a new VLAN. All servers will get new IP addresses. We have Mailbox server cluster, 2*hub transport using MS NLB and 2* Edge servers. All servers are domain members, Edge server is a member of DMZ domain. The NLB cluster will be deleted and recreated on the new VLAN. I will ensure DNS is updated using ipconfig /registerdns command. The AD sites are the windows default. I will update the IP addresses on the receive connectors on the hub transport servers. On the target VLAN, hub transport and mailbox will be on the same subnet. Firewall will be configured for edge server TCP 25 IN/OUT internet, TCP 25 IN/OUT to hub transport, TCP 50636 IN LDAP/SSL Edgesync. Our networks team will configure the NAT address of the edge server to the new IP address. Any Exchange specific problems to be aware of?

The only thing I would probably suggest is that you shut down all of the Exchange services while making the changes. Once the IP addresses have been changed everywhere, and you have confirmed network connectivity to the domain controllers, start the Exchange Services. Exchange doesn't really care about the IP address, as long as the connectors are configured with the correct restrictions (if applicable) and it can see the domain controller.
