I create a mailbox and when i try to mount this new mailbox i receive the following error:- Error 0x97e starting Storage Group/DC=..... MDB failed to start- Error 0x87e starting databes "path-of-mailbox" on the Microsoft Exchange Information Store- Failed to create the Event Registration Mailbox for Database (Path-of-Mailbox). Error - 0x97eany suggestion? thanks in advance.

I worked with Microsoft Technical support to solve an issue where the Mailbox Information Store would not mount.The Public Folder database mounted fine, but the Mailbox Store would not mount.Delete the following registry key and the database will mount.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchange ADAccess\Instance0]"ConfigDCHostName"=""There should be NO KEY called "Instance0"Hope this helps some folks.
