Exchange 2007 and Text Attachment contents appearing in body of email
I have a fairly new install of exhange 2007.Certain messages received byone of our users has the contents ofa text attachment inserted into the body of the email astext. There is no attachment. Other users outside of our organization receive a seperate attachement when receiving the same message. I have updated the install of exchangeto SP1- rollup 3, but this did notresolve the issue. These same messages used to come through correctly (as a seperate attachment) on our old non-exchange mail server.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, Please try to use OWA to check whether that user can find the attachment. Besides, what version of outlook that you use? What type of account that you configured in outlook? You can try to start outlook in safe mode or without any add-ins to check the issue. Also please try to disable or uninstall anti-virus application on that pc. Hope it helps. Xiu

Xiu, The attachment isn't missing. The text of the attachment has been included in the body of the email and there is no attachment. We have a mixed environment of XP and 2003 as far as Outlook version. The type of account that has been setup in Outlook is an Exchange account. I don't believe it is a client-side issue. I believe something is being converted at the server level. I will attempt to disable our email scanning that is done locally on our server and see if that helps anything. Any other suggestions or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bob
