Exchange 2007 and Out of Office Only sends to one email address per session?
We have been trying to fix a problem with Exchange 2007 and Blackberry Professional Server and the corrupting Exchange 2007 OOO. I believe we have that down, but in the process of testing we thought it wasn't fixed because only one Out of Office message was being sent to a user, even if it was a different conversation. That led me to a little research where unofficially I learned that EX2007's OOO only sends a single OOO message to an email address, and that's it until the OOO is turned off and back on again. Can I get an official confirmation from an Exchange engineer on this? It seems like a very bizarre rule here, but if that's what it is then that is what it is. That's the way its always been, Helps prevent mail loops. ( There was a time many years ago when it was broken and a service pack fixed it, but that's a different story) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/157961 Only one reply is sent to each sender when the Out of Office Assistant is enabled
