Exchange 2007 and Groove Server 2007
The company I work for currently has Exchange 2007 running on a server with the following specs: Server 2008 x64 2x 2.5GHz Quad-Core Xeon 16GB RAM 73GB RAID1 (OS) 584GB RAID5 (Data) All exchange roles are installed on this server (sans edge of course) and the load of email security is handled by the edge transport server. Exchange has also been limited to 4GB RAM use. We have approximately 25 users with accounts on this server and a small amount of public folders. My boss recently asked me about also installing Groove Server 2007 (minus the Data Bridge component). While I feel comfortable that this server is technically capable of running both from a hardware standpoint, given the size of the company, I am leary about potential problems. Specifically, since Groove is mostly web based, would it interfere with OWA? I would greatly appreciate advice from anyone who knows more than I do, as I can't seem to find any information regarding this on Microsoft's many product pages. Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend you to install groove on the exchange server, but if you still wanted to go ahead then implement the same on the test environment and do the test and then deploy on the production environment.Arun Kumar | MCSE - 2K3 + Messaging | ITIL-F V3
