Exchange 2007 UM
Has anyone implemented a UM on Exchange 2007? Easy? Hard? Anyone care to share their experience. Thanks.

Yes I have. What are you wanting to connect it to? OCS, Lync, PBX, etc? If a PBX, what type of PBX? There are numerous config notes based on PBX and if you need a gateway in between or not. What you are connecting to will determine what the experience is. For example, if connecting to a PBX, MWI is not native to Exchange 2007 (like it is with 2010). You will need a third party product for MWI support. But it does a good job of voice mail, Auto Attendants and Subscriber access. Just curious because I have never implemented one. Anyone knows any lab that I can go through? Thanks.

Found a few labs for 2010 UM (it is not much different than 2007) from: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/bb499043.aspxTim Harrington | MVP: Exchange | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010, MCITP: Lync 2010, MCITP: Server 2008, MCTS: OCS | Blog: http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com | Twitter: @twharrington
