Exchange 2007 Transport Rule on Email Enabled Public Folder to Flag Message for Follow Up
HelloHopefully someone can help with this. I would like to setup some transport rules that will automatically flag messages for follow up in email enabled public folders. If Follow up Flags are no longer available I dont mind colour categories instead, as long as the messages are highlighted in some way.My apologies if this question has already been asked before. Many thanks.

There really isnt a hub transport rule to do that withfollow-up flagsor catagories. You can however prepend a string into a subject based on some criteria, or alternatively, use a resource/shared mailbox instead and use an Outlook rule to set a catagory. Outlook rules are much granular.

HelloSorry for the delay in replying. Thank you for your response. That is unfortuante. I recently moved from SBS 2003 to SBS 2008. In SBS 2003 I used MapiLabs 'Rules for Exchange' which allowed me to do just that. They dont make Rules for Exchange for Exchange 2007 as I guess the new Transport Rules system handles most of these things options in house.I need to keep with the current public email enabled folder structure that we use as it works very well for us. Given that this is the case, please can you elaborate on ' prepend a string into a subject based on some criteria' as to how I can accomplish this.Examples of what I would like to achive are as follows....If we recieve an email in one ofthe email enabled folders with 'Account Information' in the subject line, I would like the message to be flagged or coloured Red. If the subject contains 'Locked' I would like the messge flagged or coloured yellow. And so on and so on.Hopefully you can shed some light on this. Many thanks.
