Exchange 2007 Setup problems
Hi I cannot install Exchange 2007. While running setup.exe and clicking on "Install Microsoft Exchange" I always get an Internet Explorer Script Error. I already deactivated"Display a notification about every script error" and activated"Disable script debugging", but still got the same problem. Setup /m:install /R:C,H,M gives me"Exchange Server setup encountered an error". What is going wrong? Thanks Wilfried

After having extracted the ISO-File again, everything works fine.

once the ISO image was extracted AGAIN, the same error was being displayed in regards to the script error. After alot of headaches i simply downloaded the Exchange 2007 Evaluation software from microsoft and all is ok; installation successfull after updating the server where exchange was going to be installed. this was tested in a lab environment using VMWare and windows server 2003 x64 ent edition.

Hi, Obtain a new Exchange Server 2007 media DVD from the vendor. Download the trial version of Exchange Server 2007 Enterprise Edition or of Exchange Server 2007 Standard Edition, install it, and then apply the Exchange Server 2007 Enterprise product key or the Exchange Server 2007 Standard product key. To register and download Exchange Server 2007 evaluation software. visit the following Microsoft Web site: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=444C259E-605F-4A82-96D5-A2F448C9D4FF&displaylang=en Note The Exchange Server 2007 evaluation software is only about 1.3 gigabytes (GB). This is because the Exchange 2007 evaluation software does not include UM (Unified Messaging) software. Committed for better support..... Imu |System Support Engineer|MCT, MCTIP,MCTS,MCP,MCSA, MCSE
