Exchange 2007 Setup failed and PrepareAD Failed
Hi everybody,I have tried to install Exchange 2007 SP1 through isntallation and also tried to run setup /PrepareAd but both failed. My initial problem was with PostExchange2003_schema5.ldf the linkId were already in used. So I changed the linkId's to 1138-to-1141 like stated in a search Knowledgebase. When I try to run the setup /PrepareAD again, I get an error with PostWindows2003_schema6.ldf. This time the linkId's 146 and 147 are already used. There is a knowledbase that states to change them to 11900 and 11901, so I change them. However I am still unable to run setup /PrepareAD because it is saying that those linkId's in PostWindows2003_schema6.ldf are already in use.PLease advice I really need to get Exchange going!!Thanks you,

Ok, I found out what my problem was. I was changing the wrong file. There is a PostWindows2003_schema6.ldf under Setup/Data and also under Setup/Serverroles/Common/Setup/Data. I needed to change the ldf file in the second folder. Yotestafe
