Hi, Did you try by using fresh Exchange 2007 SP1 setup source? If not then you can download from MS website and try again. Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 And make sure that you copied source locally, if you are installing from network drive then it happens due to network interruption.

Thanks for the reply, to be honest I havent even done the install myself - Im just trying to help a customer out and wanted to see if this was a known problem or not. Will tell him to try getting a new source and install from local storage and see if that helps. He also mentioned that he might have forgotten to turn off his TMS backup system while doing the upgrade so that might have had something to do with it aswell. Going to give the procedure a go this afternoon and will get back with the result.. Cheers.
