Exchange 2007 SPAM Problem vs Receive Connectors
Hi All,Here's the situation : I have 2 mails servers. One is a Daemon (Spam Filter and Antivirus) relaying email to my Second server which is as Exchange 2007 Server. Let's Say ServerA (Daemon) and ServerB (Exchange).Since I'm receiving a lot of spam directly from my Exchange, I'd like to configure a Receive Connector to be sure sure that ServerB only accept email from ServerA. No email from the Internet should be able to pass directly form ServerB.So how should I proceed please?ThanksJohnny

Thanks Anil, The problem is that I have 4 receive Connectors Already. The 2 default ones (Client and Default) and 2 others are to allow internals servers to ralay through it.So I'm not sure if I need to create another connector or if I need to modify one already exist...

Which one is your internet mail coming in on ? Hopefully you don't have 4 receive connectors, all open to the internet.

I think Johnny use default receive connector to receive the internet mails. Johnny, you can follow the link gaven by mjolinor to change the remote network settings on default receive connector to accept the mails only from ServerA.By the way, if you have some budget, maybe you can install an Edge server and create a linked connector to receive internet mails.More information how linked connector works: How to Create Linked Connectors http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb201724(EXCHG.80).aspxFrank Wang
