Exchange 2007 SP2 - Cannot send email out of domain BUT can recieve from ALL - IP Address change
We have a situation where we moved our Exchange 2007 SP2 server from one site to another. I changed DNS entries for Host and Mail Exchangers & Modified firewall access lists to allow ALL traffic to and from Exchange server from ANYWHERE. We receive emails fine from outside organizations, but cannot send out EXCEPT for 1 domain who happens to be the host of the EDGE & RELAY servers. Theu use Symantec BrightMail for Email Scanning and we have verified that all pointers are IP Addressed and not DNS Names. Any Help Is Greatly Appreciated. Thank You In Advance. JT

What happens when you try? You might contact your ISP about whether or not it restricts outbound SMTP; perhaps they need to know what server is allowed to send outbound SMTP so that it can configure its Brightmail appliance to accept mail.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Thanks for the quick reply Ed. The issue is resolved however I do not have an update from my "ISP" on what they did to resolve it. I will try to get that answer and come back and post it for others to view.
