Exchange 2007 SP1 uninstall failed.
Hi all. After rolling up a lot of updates on my server (running on Windows 2003 SP1 R2 x64) my Exchange 2007 SP1 has been crashed & it seems impossible to reanimate it. I wanted to correctly remove Exchange & fully reconfigure my Windows server, but when I try to uninstall Exhcange using setup.exe, I receive only "Microsoft Exchange setup initializing..." message on screen for a few seconds & then - nothing. Message in Event Viewer - "Microsoft Exchange Server -- Setup Completed Successfully".Then I tried to run setup.com /m:uninstall & that's the result:Microsoft Exchange Setup InitializingUnhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Management.Automation, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. I have no idea of what it may be. Any solutions?Thanks!P.S. This is my first post to english-speaking Technet comminuty forums, sorry if I've written in wrong thread. WBR, Sergey.

Windows PowerShell 1.0 English Language Installation Packages for Windows Server 2003 and for Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/926139 Besides, I recommend you to check if please ensure that the account which you used to uninstall Exchange Server should has rights listing below: Local Administrator on the server Enterprise Administrator Domain Administrator Schema Administrator (only required for first install to extend the Schema) If it is not the case, then please try to check event log and then post the detail error information here. Also please run ExBPA and then post the ExBPA.log here for further troubleshooting. Regards, Xiu
