Hi Brett, You can use below command to see the FQDN paramager value of you receive connector. Get-ReceiveConnector "Connector Name" | FL Name, FQDN & then set the FQDN value with your domain name. Set-ReceiveConnector "Connector Name" -FqdnomainName

Sorry to jump in on the thread, but I get the same error. I got the error when running setup for Exchange SP1 the first time. I followed the instructions in the error and changed my "Default SERVERNAME" receive connector to my internal FQDN. However, I really want my HELO/EHLO response to be my external FQDN. But whenever I try to change it back, I keep getting the same error. So far, no issues with my mail, but my DNS report is not pretty. And if anyone denies based on reverse DNS, my head is on the block. Any chance this can be fixed or I'm doing something wrong? Hi, I changed the connector to exchange.myserver.local from exchange.myserver.com in the short term,I re-started service pack 1 setup and it carried on from where it left off and completed... i then just changed the connector to our FQDN.... Hope this helps.... Brett
