Exchange 2007 SP1 Beta setup problem
Hi, I'm trying to install the SP1 beta of Exchange Server 2007 and I always got this error : Setup encountered a problem while validating the state of Active Directory: Active Directory server exch07-01.mydomain.com is not available. Error message: A local error occurred. But my environmen is only composed with this server that as AD on it and domain full update to work with Exchange 2007. I'm using the 32 bits evaluation version of Exchange. Anyone as clue on this ?

It seams to not be related to the SP1 install since I have rollback my VM and after the installation of Sharepoint on the Exchange server I get the same error. Anyone as some clues on this ? I've called Microsoft support, but 32 bits version is not supported.

There's a discussion related to what seams to be the same problem, which is not related with Sharepoint or SP1setup: http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2010418&SiteID=17&mode=1

Like the post says the solution is to delete the current profile and reboot the server and log in again a new profile will be created and everything will work fine. You can also juste create a new user and add it to the exchange admin group and login with it a new fresh profile is created and it works...
