Exchange 2007 Resource Room Rename.
I have to rename a number of resource rooms in my orginization. Here is the process I am using:1. Rename the AD account from ConferenceRoom1 to ConferenceRoom2.2. Go into EMC and change the Exchange Alias to ConferenceRoom2, that will generate the new e-mail addresses.3. Delete the e-mail addresses that are still remaining from when it was called ConferenceRoom1.Are you with me so far?At that point, I can make changes to the meeting request, change times, etc and it will send an update to all the users. That works without a problem.The problem that I am having is that the Location on all of the calendar entries is still refers to "ConferenceRoom1"Is there a way, once the resource room has been renamed to update the location information on all the users calendars?

Hi,There is no way to update the name automatically. To change it, the organizer should update the meeting request in order to make it change. The name is saved as MAPI property under Calendar folder.ThanksAllen
